Master of Rehabilitation Counseling- Addiction Counseling
Wright University offers a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling in Addiction Counseling, which qualifies graduates to earn professional counseling licensure (LPC) in Ohio. The Addiction Counseling program was accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through October 31, 2019.
The program offers an in-depth study of addictions, clinical treatment, diagnosis, counseling theory, and practice. Graduates are eligible to apply for the Ohio Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and can earn independent clinical licensure by passing the National Mental Health Counseling Examination. All classes can be taken online, although some courses are also taught as traditional, face-to-face classes.

- 6 credit hours of internship
Admission Requirements:
- Completion of online application with $40 application fee
- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
- 2.7 cumulative minimum GPA or better
- Minimum GRE score of 291 (Q&V combined) or MAT scaled score of 403 OR 3.3 cumulative minimum GPA
- Applicants may be admitted conditionally if cumulative GPA is between 2.3 and 2.7
